Land is the one thing you can buy that will still be there when you get ready to use it, or sell it. It is very difficult to steal, and impossible to pick up and hide somewhere else.

Raw land, undeveloped is a solid investment for many reasons. Maintenance is extremely low, or nothing. You don’t have to be concerned about thefts or vandals. Your taxes will be lower than if there was a building on it. All you have to do is watch it sit there, unattended and wait for the right time to sell.

You have other options too. You can purchase the land for either your personal use or can lease it out and make a little profit. You can leave it to your children or sell it when you chose to retire. Farmland and cattle ranches are still amongst the most popular with foreign investors, and there is plenty of California ranch land available.

The sensational milk and honey



One example is a group of very smart middle-aged men that bought enough acreage to start a cattle range and turned it into a tourist business. They sell the cowboy experience at a hefty profit, and they are booked solid month after month.

A family did something along the same line with their raw land. They built tree-houses and rented them out for vacation homes. They have yet to find the need for electricity, but they do have septic tanks. Their costs are minimal, and the profits are high.

Think about it, but don’t think about it too long, where else in the world can you buy land for so little and get so much in return? The land will always be there, it doesn’t disappear or disintegrate. Whether you use it as your own little getaway or find an innovative money making idea, it is still there for the future.

It won’t be too many more years before the vacant land is gone, either sold or taken over by the government. Owning your own property will be a dream left behind, something your great grandchildren will read about. I wonder if they will believe it was out of reach for the average person. But this generation knows it is possible right now for anyone in the United States to purchase land for very little cash. You can even make monthly payments that are lower than your insurance. What in the world are you waiting for? This is the time to solidify your future.
