ABOUT BELEN
Belen is only 30 minutes away and is geographically at the center of New Mexico. There is a commuter railroad to Albuquerque and Santa Fe in Belen and several festivals throughout the year. The total population is around 7,000. Property values in Belen and Valencia County are likely to see a boost due to the upcoming construction of a Facebook data center in Los Lunas (15 minutes outside of Belen). In addition, Los Lunas was recently awarded a federal grant to build water infrastructure out to its new BNSF Central Rail Park. The construction of the rail park and its attendant infrastructure should bring lots of jobs to the area.
